Sittin' on the edge of the bay

I drove down to Lewes, DE today to visit a friend of mine from my organizing days. She and her family have been vacationing down in Lewes for the week and I just popped in for a relaxing day at the beach. My friend Dannielle was staying more along the Delaware Bay, which was a great place for kids since the water is very calm. Her daughter Lily was in heaven running all over the place.

I didn't really take any pictures during the day, but I did manage to catch a beautiful sunset along the canal before grabbing some homemade ice cream in town w/ Dannielle and her family and heading home. Enjoy!
